Krabi Enduro: More Than Just a Race
Krabi is famous around the world for its beaches, limestone mountains, islands and tropical landscapes.
But away from the tourist beaches, another side of Krabi exists — one filled with jungle trails, steep hills, streams, rocky sections, rubber plantations and palm plantations.
For years, local riders have explored these trails on Enduro and off-road motorcycles.
And once a year, riders from Krabi and other parts of Thailand come together for one of the local off-road riding traditions: the Krabi Enduro event.
What started as a small local gathering in 2022 has grown into an event that has attracted hundreds of riders, experienced racers from across Thailand, and even international competitors.
The event has changed its format and name over the years, from a small community meeting to a national-level Hard Enduro event and back to a more accessible Enduro meeting.
In 2026, the event will return for its fifth edition.
Krabi Enduro V5 – 15 November 2026

The Beginning: Krabi Enduro Meeting 2022
The story began in 2022, when we organized the first event under the name:
Meeting Krabi Enduro – The 1st Meeting
The event was held on 18 December 2022.
Compared with later editions, this was a small event. The main riding route was approximately 40–50 kilometers, starting from the school and continuing through the surrounding countryside and off-road terrain.
But small did not mean easy.
The route was designed to challenge riders with a mixture of fast sections, technical terrain, climbs, descents and rocky creek beds.
One of the most difficult parts was riding through rocky creek channels, where finding the correct line and maintaining balance was extremely important.
Rain on the day made the route even more difficult.
In fact, only three riders completed the entire route according to the route planned by the organizers.
For the riders who managed to finish, it became a memorable first chapter in what would eventually become an annual Krabi Enduro event.
Three Classes in the First Event
The first meeting featured three main classes:
- Expert
- Beginner
- Tourist
More than 100 riders attended the event, including a strong team from Central Thailand with several experienced national-level riders.
Among them were well-known riders such as Non Langphlan and Bank Sodchuen.
Non Langphlan eventually won the top class of the first Krabi Enduro meeting.
Krabi Enduro Meeting 2023: Hill Climb and Charity
The following year, the event took a completely different direction.
In 2023, the event focused heavily on hill climbing and circuit-style competition.
This edition was also organized as a charity event to raise money for a local mosque.
The entry fee was only 300 THB per class, and there were no prize trophies. Instead, the organizers provided food and drinks for participants while the event raised funds for the local community.
The competition featured two main formats:
- Hill Climb Circuit
- Hill Climb Battle
There were six classes:
- Open – All motorcycles, trophies 1–10
- Large Bike 200cc+ – trophies 1–10
- Small Bike up to 199cc + Super Cup – trophies 1–20
- VIP50 + 90kg+ + Two-Up – trophies 1–10
- VIP Tourist – Open class motorcycles not permitted, trophies 1–20
- Krabi Super Star – trophies 1–20
Once again, more than 100 riders participated.
The location made the event particularly interesting for spectators. The competition took place beside a public road on a steep hill, meaning people passing by could easily see the riders attempting the climbs.
Many stopped their vehicles to watch.
The Open class was won by Joe Phuket, adding another memorable name to the history of Krabi Enduro.
KRABI EXTREME ENDURO 2024: From Local Meeting to National-Level Event
The third edition was a major turning point.
In 2024, we decided to take Krabi Enduro in a much more extreme direction.
The event was named:
KRABI EXTREME ENDURO 2024
The event was held at Chongmai-dam School and became a large-scale Hard Enduro event attracting riders from across Thailand and international competitors.
More than 500 riders participated.
This was no longer simply a small local meeting.
It had become a serious Enduro event on a national level.
To support the larger event, professional teams were brought in to handle different aspects of the competition.
Dumtime was involved in the timing system, registration, race results and trophy production.
The event also featured Naa Kluay Santi Iampricha, a well-known commentator and personality within Thailand’s motocross and Enduro community, who helped bring professional event commentary and entertainment to the competition.
Three Days of Racing
The event took place over three days:
Friday, 29 November 2024 – Course Inspection
Riders had the opportunity to inspect and understand the race route.
Saturday, 30 November 2024 – Prologue
The Prologue determined the starting order and gave riders their first taste of the competition.
Sunday, 1 December 2024 – Main Event
This was the main race day.
The course was divided into two major sections:
S1 – 5 Checkpoints
S1 was a longer and faster section that could be ridden by riders from different skill levels.
S2 – 5 Checkpoints
S2 was where things became seriously difficult.
This section was designed as Hard Enduro.
There were few opportunities to rest, and riders needed a combination of technical skill, physical strength, balance and determination to make it through.
The route included slippery rocky creek beds, long and steep climbs, narrow single-track sections, tree roots and constantly changing terrain.
The combination of rain, rocks, mud and technical riding made S2 extremely demanding.
Only One Rider Completed All 10 Checkpoints
The difficulty of the course was demonstrated by one remarkable statistic.
Only one rider completed all 10 checkpoints across both S1 and S2.
That rider was Sergey Terentev from Russia.
Sergey also won the top class of the event.
The top 10 finishers were:

- Nueng Lamphra – Thailand
- Arm Wavepan – Thailand
- Big Chumphon – Thailand

Having riders from Russia, Malaysia and Thailand competing together made KRABI EXTREME ENDURO 2024 a particularly memorable event.
KRABI MEETING ENDURO V.4 – 2025
After the extreme challenge of 2024, the fourth edition returned to a more accessible format.
The event was named:
KRABI MEETING ENDURO V.4 2025
It was held on 21 December 2025, once again at Chongmai-dam School.
This time, the organizers wanted the route to be challenging but achievable for a wider range of riders.
The route was approximately 40–50 kilometers and included a mixture of:
- Faster riding sections
- Technical arm-pumping trails
- Long rocky creek sections
- Steep climbs
- Single-track trails
- Challenging local hills
The event attracted more than 300 riders, which was an impressive turnout for a relatively small-scale Enduro meeting.
The event also welcomed international riders.
More than 20 riders from Malaysia joined the event, while riders from Russia also came to add an international atmosphere to the competition.
There were 15 competition classes in total.
The top class was eventually won by Tee Phuket, who travelled all the way from Chiang Mai and competed on a Kawasaki KLX140.
His victory was another reminder that Enduro racing is not always about having the biggest motorcycle.
A well-prepared lightweight motorcycle and a skilled rider can be extremely competitive when the terrain becomes technical.
Krabi Enduro V.5 – 2026
Now the tradition continues.
The fifth edition will be held in 2026 under the name:
Krabi Enduro V.5

The competition categories and race classes for this year’s Krabi Enduro event have now been announced.
Riders can now check the available race categories and start planning their participation in one of Thailand’s exciting Enduro events in Krabi.
With the race classes now confirmed, international riders can plan their trip around the event — combining the competition with an Enduro adventure and exploring the trails, landscapes, and local experiences that Krabi has to offer.

You don’t have to wait for race day to experience the trails.
Many of the landscapes used around Krabi for Enduro riding can also be explored as part of a guided riding adventure.
If you have your own motorcycle, we can guide you through suitable routes.
If you don’t have a motorcycle, you can join one of our Enduro Adventures and ride with us using one of our available bikes.
Some sections of previous race routes may require permission because they pass through private plantations or local land.
For this reason, we cannot simply promise that every kilometer of every previous race course is available to ride.
However, many sections and surrounding trails can be explored with the appropriate local permission and route planning.
This is one of the advantages of riding with a local guide.
We know the area, understand the terrain and can choose routes according to your experience and the conditions on the day.

Ride Krabi Before or After the Race
If you are travelling to Krabi specifically for the Enduro event, we recommend making the most of your trip.
You can combine the race with a guided Enduro Adventure before or after the competition.
For experienced riders, we can look at more challenging terrain.
For riders with less experience, we can choose easier trails and gradually introduce more technical sections.
The goal is not simply to ride as hard as possible.
It is to enjoy the terrain, understand the motorcycle and experience the landscape of Krabi from a completely different perspective.
